We are delighted to announce that we recently purchased a 20,000 sq. ft. commercial property which we will develop and customise to create a flexible and agile working environment.  The property is conveniently situated close to M54 Junction 4 at Stafford Park 16, Telford, and we intend to relocate in Spring 2021.

As a consequence of our continued growth and an expansion in the range of services we offer, we have outgrown our current premises.  The new modern, spacious building provides iconsys with a unique opportunity for future expansion, in line with our 2020 growth strategy.

We gathered the views of our employees by means of an ‘Office of the Future’ survey to help establish the requirements for the new building with a view to creating a flexible and welcoming workspace conducive to a healthy work/life balance, and we are working closely with Architects BASE and workspace design agency iDEA to help achieve these objectives. We shall also incorporate a SMART office infrastructure into the configuration of our new headquarters.  Our SMART office will reduce both operating costs and environmental impact by utilising modern technology to create a super-efficient workspace, integrating the control of services such as heating, lighting and ventilation together with security and access management, meeting room booking and hot-desk allocation. Outside the building, solar panels will contribute to our energy requirements and electric vehicle charging points will support sustainable transport, whilst a large part of the 3.8 acre site comprises mature woodland which will help offset carbon emissions and sustain wildlife. We will be incorporating the latest collaborative cloud based infrastructure software to create an advanced, suitable and well-connected working environment whereby employees are able to work either in the office or remotely with equal efficacy.

Managing Director, Nick Darrall said “In these extraordinary times marked by the uncertainty surrounding the Covid pandemic and the imminent effects BREXIT will have on businesses, we feel iconsys are in a great shape to support our customers through the current difficult period and beyond by integrating technologies to help UK manufacturers become more efficient and competitive in their market place.  The new headquarters will be a central business core for our employees, offering a flexible, agile and enjoyable working environment - a secure, inclusive and welcoming building which not only promotes collaboration and innovation but also aids learning at all levels, enabling individuals to develop and grow. It will offer improved communication between employees regardless of their location, as they will be able to access the information they need from anywhere in the world.

Our new premises will give our team room for future growth and a pleasant, modern facility in which to welcome our customers.”
