Iconsys, the Telford based manufacturing systems integrator, has taken a significant step forward in their continued expansion plans with the establishment of a regional office in Milton Keynes.

As a leading global drive, control and automation system integrator, Iconsys uses the latest automation technologies to deliver best-in-class solutions to help their customers achieve their business objectives. Iconsys has an outstanding track record of successfully completed projects and with a new office opening in Milton Keynes, this move offers improved geographical coverage of the East Midlands, East Anglia and South East of England.

The new office will house additional staff covering sales and business development, engineering and project management and service/support with initial recruitment already completed. The office will be managed by Rob Watson who comes to Iconsys with over 30 years’ experience in the Industrial drive and automation markets working with Harland Simon. Rob will be joined by two other former Harland Simon employees, Project Engineer Andy Brown and Systems Service Engineer Mark Franklin.

The establishment of a regional office in a central location and with good transport connections will provide enhanced capabilities to a wider customer base.  Utilising available technologies Iconsys enable their customers to increase production, reduce costs, maximise efficiency and maintain the highest product quality.

Nick Darrall, Managing Director at Iconsys, commented on the new establishment: “This is the next step for Iconsys as we pave the way forward for our company. We are now able to offer our bespoke solutions to customers within the radius of Milton Keynes and can further continue to strengthen our customer relationships by providing them with our range of services all from a dedicated south east base.”

Iconsys will be amongst the hundreds of members exhibiting at this year's Made in the Midlands Exhibition, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on June 20.
